Storms again

As I am writing this on Sunday night it is trying to storm again. We had strong winds yesterday taking down the bradford pear tree in the front yard and a few more in the woods. Several reports of wind damage including the Lutheran Church roof, Dave and Lisa tree fell on their "old" truck, and others. Perhaps May will bring some calm weather.
Looking forward to Sara and Chuck coming home on Tuesday. I am sure we will be busy, Brandon has a band concert, Tanner a ballgame, Paige a dance routine at school, and Caleb has a ball game also. Hoping to fit time in for Eric and Ethan.

Montauk

Just returned from camping at Montauk. It was a very relaxing and pleasant week. Didn't do any fishing, just r & r. Had a little excitement on Sunday night..there was a storm with a lot of lightning. And around 2 am I woke up and he decided to get up also and "see a man about a dog" (hope you know what that means!) anyway lightning struck a tree by our camper. He was within 20 feet of it. WOW! It lit up the place and was very loud. Scared the _____ out of him.. The campers on both sides of us had damage to their electrical systems, such as fridges, fans, inverter or converter whatever it is called, but fortunately we did not lose anything. We are home now, I mean I am. He was for about 30 minutes and called for a load and now he is on his way to Mitchell, SD. Life is Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at these angels......

This pic was taken the day before Easter. Needless to say this is one of their favorite places to play of course it was one of Sara's also. The "old" boards, which Sara called her tree house are now gone but the memories will always be there.
Well, this week he went to Saginaw, MI and Finleyville, PA. They said because of the holiday not much was moving so returned home on Wednesday night and now planning on taking next week off and going to Montauk.

Hello Good Buddy!!!!

Yes it is "He" talking on the cb to Doc. At that time they were on channel 13 counting pheasants in SD. I had to take this pic to prove the fact! Yellowstone highways were closed so that will be on the next trip. We had an enjoyable trip to Canada with them. We returned home on Saturday night. Doc and Ruth went on over to IN to pick up another load.
At this time I am recovering from a shoulder manipulation that I had done on Wednesday. All seems to be going well.
Of course he couldn't wait to get back on the road so he is on his way to Tulsa, returning home tonight.

We are in Michigan City, IN tonight and leaving tomorrow for Red Deer, Alberta. Doc and Ruth are also heading to the same area. So wish us a safe and uneventful trip. Planning on dropping down into Montana and going thru Yellowstone if all goes well.
