Home, Home on the range

Yep! We are home again. Got my hugs and kisses from Ethan and Caleb, but waiting for the others. Pick the boys up from school and took them to Burger King. Great! Fast food again...... Perhaps I might venture out to try cooking once again. It's been a long time since I used my stove. I would rather use the one in the camper. Hint! Hint!

Brother

Met up with Doc and Ruth in Middlebury Tuesday. Found out they were heading in the same direction we were. Their load was to Eau Claire, WI and ours to Mitchell, SD. Last night we stayed in the same town and had dinner together. Then this morning we went our separate ways. Now we are in Sparta, WI on way back to pick up a unit to be delivered in Grain Valley, MO. That means if all goes as planned we will be home for the weekend. WHOOPEE!

Birthday for Tanner

Just returned from celebrating Tanner's 15th birthday and of course seeing all six grandchildren. How lucky I am!!!!! Seems like only yesterday he was just a little tyke.
Angie told us that Caleb wanted to know why we were gone so much, she explained to him that we were making money. He replied, "Mom don't they know that money isn't everything?" How precious! Makes me want to stay home....

Here we go again.....

Actually we are heading home..... spending the night in Richmond, IN then across Indiana, Illinois and into good ole Missouri. Shame on us we won't make to church again but hopefully will make it to the evening service. Either before that or after we will go to Deb's to help Tanner celebrate his 15th birthday. (I am sure he is waiting to open his cards.) Donald called and wants to make plans to go to Montauk in April. Busy! Busy! Before you know it we will be celebrating Darryl and Michelle's wedding. I love it!

What Massachusetts again?

Well we didn't spend one night at home probably more like an hour or less. Clean clothes and "on the road again". (Why oh why do I let him talk me into this!) We are in Milford, PA, heading to West Boylston, MA, aproximately an half hour from Sara. Plan on spending Friday night with her and then continue "on the road again" to Missouri. This time my goal is to stay home and get our taxes done.
Returning for the short time that it was, I did manage to get my mail from the post office. It was a nice surprise to find a package from Mary Ann Paille. She was our guest speaker at the recent women's retreat. It was a book written by Stormie______. (Sorry I can't remember the last name. ) I watch her table ( where her books, tapes, and etc.) at the retreat and this was her way of thanking me. How thoughtful!

On the road again

Left Massachusetts on Monday spending the night in Ohio. Then onward to Indiana to pick up another unit. Now we are in Camdenton, MO (freezing at the moment, :( can't seem to get this room warm). Tomorrow we will deliver in Linn Creek, MO and then home once again.

Massachusetts

We delivered a unit to Milton, NH on Friday and then travel to Sara and Chuck's for the weekend. Just got back from indulging ourselves at Redbones BQ and stopping in at Barnes and Noble. The traditional thing to do when we are here. Planning on heading back on Monday. While here Dwayne called to tell us that on top of everything the Hyde's have went thru Angie's mother was taken to the hospital with congestive heart failure. As of today, she seems to be doing well.

This is a pic of what is left of Hyde's garage. Both vehicles were extensively damage. There were some papers in the suv that were found some 75-100 miles away. They lost their barns, outbuildings, some cattle, garage, vehicles, and home. The house was left standing and their belongings were intact. Friends, neighbors, and strangers have come out in large numbers to help. It is truly amazing how people in a rural area are eager to help someone in need.

Well I try to give a short update. We are in Minot, ND at the present and heading for Lloydminster, SK, tomorrow. The weather has been great and not like the last time we were in Canada in December.
Met up with Marv and Judy in Middlebury this week while they were having warranty work done on their camper. That reminds me, our fifth wheel is finished and we can pick it up next week. Glad to hear that! The first part of the week we delivered a unit to Tracy, MN. Heading home after this deliver in Canada. Hope to be home sometime Saturday late. Missing those grandkids....
